I bought this SUP board after renting the same model from Paddle Gear. To me, if that's the board the store chose to use as rentals it's a solid proof of these boards being sturdy and easy to use. I'm glad I was able to support a local family run business and I'm very happy with my purchase :)
I was a first time rider when I bought this SUP last summer. I am a plus size woman and needed something that could hold at least 300lbs. This one was recommended and I could not be happier. I bought an electric pump because although the one that comes with it is great, it takes a while to pump up and on a hot sunny day you just want to get in the water. The paddle is okay but not super light weight but very easy to use to sit and stand on the board with a quick extension. It is pretty sturdy, easy to get on and off. Weight is manageable to carry from car to water no matter your fitness level. No complaints at all. I am going to get a second board this summer so I can bring friends or family along with me.
